Additionally, Blaz Kavcic of Slovenia downed Great Britain's James Ward 6-4, 6-3, 6-4, and Italy's Flavio Cipolla outlasted Russian Nikolay Davydenko 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.
