08/29/2009 - Joliet, IL (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Kyle Busch made a late-race pass on Todd Bodine for the lead and then held off Bodine on a restart with seven laps to go to win Friday's inaugural EnjoyIllinois.com 225 Camping World Truck Series race at Chicagoland Speedway.
Busch recorded his fourth victory of the season and the 13th of his Truck Series career. He won last week's race at Bristol, snapping Ron Hornaday Jr.'s five-race winning streak.
"[Crew chief] Richie [Wauters] made a good pit call there in the beginning of the race to take tires when we did," said Busch, who led a race-high 79 laps. "Luckily, we had that long green-flag run, and we cased it. We made it look like we knew what we were doing, and that long run, it just hurt everybody else."
Busch and Wauters are now two-for-two in wins since the duo were reunited at the No.51 Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota team prior to Bristol. Wauters guided Busch to three victories in the series in 2008. Doug George had served as his crew chief before moving over to Ballew's No.15 team.
"Kyle is a heck of a race car driver, and when he gets to the front, I don't think anyone is going to get around him unless he's a little bit worse," Wauters said.
Busch has now won three of the last four races in which he's competed, as he captured the victory in both the Truck and Sprint Cup events at Bristol. He will try to improve on that record Sunday when he runs in the Nationwide Series race at Montreal.
The 24-year-old driver has now recorded victories in all three of NASCAR's national touring series at five different tracks. Busch won the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races at Chicagoland last year.
Bodine settled for a second-place finish.
"On the second-to-last restart, I just got too good of a restart, and this place is so much like Daytona and Talladega where drafting is so important," said Bodine, who relinquished the lead to Busch with 19 laps remaining. "He got a good draft and passed me. I guess it's my fault."
Colin Braun finished third, followed by Rick Crawford and Johnny Sauter.
Dennis Setzer, Chad McCumbee, Aric Almirola, Timothy Peters and Terry Cook completed the top-10.
Hornaday had a disappointing night with an 11th-place finish, his worst result since the first weekend in June at Texas, where he placed 19th. Hornaday fell one lap behind but managed to get back on the lead lap during the seventh and final caution.
Matt Crafton, the pole sitter, finished a lap down in 14th.
Hornaday slightly increased his lead over Crafton to 220 points with nine races remaining in the season.

In part two of MySportsbook.com’s draft preview, we’ll take a look at a division that was extremely disappointing last season: the NFC South. Many “experts” predicted the Panthers to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, of course they could not even make the playoffs in an extremely weak NFC. The Saints definitely made up for the disappointing seasons of their NFC South brethren by exploding out of no where en route to the NFC Championship game. For the avid NFL gambler, it is imperative to pay attention to the NFL draft. Although free agency gets a ton of publicity, the successful franchises build their teams around the draft.
1. New Orleans Saints
Who would have thought this time last year that the Saints would be the favorites to win the NFC South for the 2007 campaign? New Orleans is loaded with firepower on the offensive side of the ball but with the exodus of Joe Horn they will most likely look to draft a WR on Day 1. Despite having the NFL’s 3rd ranked pass defense last season, the Saints will most likely upgrade their CB’s with one of their first two picks. Other possibilities for the Saints will be TE and DT. Because of where they will be selecting (27th), the Saints could go the “best available player” route which could net a LB.

2. Carolina Panthers
Carolina was one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL last season. With the signing of David Carr, expect the very first quarterback controversy to come out of Carolina if Jake Delhomme doesn’t rebound quickly from an average 2007 season. With veteran safety Mike Minter getting up there in age, they will look to draft a safety on Day 1 but probably not in the first round. LB is another need with the loss of Chris Draft to go along with Dan Morgan’s concussion problems. If TE Greg Olsen is still on the board, he might be too good to pass up despite their needs on the defensive side of the ball.

3. Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons were another NFC South team to have a disappointing 2007 season. The Falcons have been plenty busy during the off season with plenty of players coming and going including a new head coach. The Falcons were able to improve their draft position with the trade of coveted backup QB Matt Schaub. High on the list of Day 1 needs will be a defensive end to replace Patrick Kerney and a hard hitting safety since Lawyer Milloy is nearing the end of his career. With an additional 2nd round pick, the Falcons could attempt to trade up to acquire local product WR Calvin Johnson.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Age really caught up to the Bucs last season. The Bucs still have plenty of household names on defense in Ronde Barber, Simeon Rice and Derrick Brooks but the one thing those three have in common is unfortunately age. It is imperative for the Bucs to get much younger, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Despite having bigger needs on the defensive side of the ball, WR Calvin Johnson is the most likely pick if he is still available when the Bucs pick at the four spot. This would suit Bucs’ faithful just fine as Johnson is widely considered the top talent in the draft and it is a position of need for the Bucs.

With the playoffs about two months away, the top two teams in the Western Conference are the clear cut leaders to win the NBA Championship. The Dallas Mavericks have the best record in the NBA (44-9) and have been absolutely scorching since the second week of the season. Unlike the Mavs, the Suns have struggled a bit lately having lost their last three and four out of their last seven. Of course the main reason for their three straight loses is due to the absence of two time MVP Steve Nash, who is out with a shoulder injury. Heads-up, the Mavs have beaten the Suns in both of their meetings this season.
In the Eastern Conference, the Pistons (32-19) are the favorites to win it all at 6-1. The addition of Chris Webber seems to have been a good move for the Pistons. Since coming over from the 76ers, Webber has averaged 13.1 PPG and 7.3 RPG and the Pistons are 11-4. Even though the defending champion Heat are currently on the playoff making cusp, they are the Eastern Conference team that is getting the most action to win it all (9-1). The fact that Shaquille O’Neal is back in the starting lineup after missing 39 games probably has something to do with this. No doubt, Shaq makes a difference when in the lineup as their winning six out of their last seven would indicate.
